She is most well-known for her character of Jane Kerkovich Williams in ABC's comedy series Happy Endings, Denise Mahoney and Hannah Wyland on Quantico. In 2022, she appeared in Fox's comedy Pivoting. In recent times, she was an acting support in the Netflix show Murderville, episode-Who Killed Santa. Coupe also took classes at ImprovOlympic and The Groundlings in improvisational comedy. She toured France as a soldier for the all-female King Lear production in 2003. In November of 2005, her one-woman sketch show The Patriots premiered at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and won her the Breakout Performer Award at HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, Aspen, Colorado. March 2006. From December 2007 to June 2013, Coupe was engaged to Randall Whittinghill, an actor teacher and puppeteer. She announced her engagement via Instagram on the 27th of November 2014. They were on vacation in New Zealand when they got married on December 24, 2014. They filed for divorce on December 24 in 2014. From April 2011 through May 2013, Coupe was a part of Elisha Cuthbert and Zachary Knighton on ABC's ensemble comedy program Happy Endings. After its third season concluded, ABC cancelled the show despite widespread praise. Since Happy Endings's cancellation, she starred in a recurring role in the final season of House of Lies and starred with Jay Harrington in the USA Network comedy series Benched, which premiered on October 28th, 2014. Later, she appeared in the ABC thriller Quantico in the role as FBI agent Hannah Wyland.
