Her[a] YouTube channel features a wide variety, including lifestyle-oriented vlogs and music videos and mukbangs. She had approximately 5,000,000 users and 1 billion lifetime visits as of July 2022. Paytas has hosted Frenemies alongside fellow YouTuber Ethan Klein. A singer by herself, Paytas released singles and recorded a number of albums. She also appeared in films and television shows. Paytas was born on May 8th, 1988,[3 in Riverside, California before moving to Illinois. She has two younger siblings: a maternal half-sister and an older brother. Paytas enrolled herself in an online Catholic school program when she was 15, after her move from Illinois to California. She returned to Illinois with her mother when she was 16 and lived with them. She attended the high school of Pecatonica in Illinois. Paytas, who moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting as an actor, started lingerie modeling professionally and also worked as a stripper to help her family. She was a guest on various TV shows. She tried but failed to break Guinness World Records Unleashed's fastest talker record. Paytas made several trolling videos between 2013 to 2017, which she claimed were a method to "dumbing myself down" to gain more views and attention. These videos claimed that dogs do not possess brains and that she was in favor of Mitt Romney who is the Republican presidential candidate. Paytas has been a part of a variety of religious beliefs in her life which includes Roman Catholicism. Paytas suffered from mental problems and was diagnosed as having borderline personality disorder.
