Sara and Lorraine

Sara Lynn Evans (born February 5th 7th, 1971) was the eldest of seven children raised by her parents at their property located in New Franklin Missouri. When she was just five years old, Sara has always had a passion for music. At age 5, she began to sing on weekends with the group of her parents. At the nightclub in Columbia Missouri, she started performing when she was 16 years old. It lasted two years. In 1991, Sara moved into Nashville Tennessee with the intention to be a Country artist. Musician Harlan Howard heard Sara as she sang a song demo for one of his tracks Tiger By the Tail at County Q Studios and decided that she would sing the music of Harlan Howard. RCA has signed the singer to an agreement. Evans released Three Chords and the Truth which was her debut album in 1997. Critics praised it for its return to country music and included it in many Top 10 lists. Unfortunately, the album were not able to make the Top 40 at The radio station.
